ABOUT ME
About me.
I was given my first camera at the age of eight.
My first and only gift from my dad. I don’t think I really wanted anything else after that.
It became an extension of my arm, my eyes and my feelings. The lens instantly took me to a better place, it showed life, the world around me through the most beautiful light. Time stood still whilst my cheek pressed against my camera. I have to admit, it still does, Over 40 years later. My cameras, I have now collected a few; have always been there with me and for me. There were years, when you would never see me without my loyal friend safely around my shoulder, ready to capture the magic, the memories out there in this beautiful world we live in.
Digital, gives me the freedom to take hundreds, thousands of images. My escape is to view and explore them using my software and create the best image possible. Explore, enhance and create. In a nutshell this is a glimpse of what photography is to me.
In this path of over 40 years, the light has taken a mood of its own. The images say different things to me. I haven’t gravitated toward any one field or speciality. I see so much beauty in almost everything. Each challenge keeps the passion in me alight. An impulse in me to capture, immortalise and admire what is there in that little card, tucked away in my camera; Stored, even deeper, in my heart.
This is what I offer you. The heart in my work, experience in how I see and interpret your aspirations.
